List of players to arrive next Monday for pre-season
Arsenal’s junior sides began their pre-season preparations at the start of this week while the Gunners welcomed Petr Cech to north London.
However, Arsene Wenger’s first team will not be back in action until next Monday when training officially resumes at London Colney.
The Gunners will begin this summer’s pre-season with a Singapore tour. A friendly against the Singapore Select XI has been scheduled to take place in less than two weeks.
Barring any late fitness concerns, here are the Arsenal players who are set to be welcomed back on Monday.
Mathieu Debuchy
Mikel Arteta
Per Mertesacker
Gabriel
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain
Nacho Monreal
Mathieu Flamini
Danny Welbeck
Emiliano Martinez
Francis Coquelin
Yaya Sanogo
Hector Bellerin
Petr Cech is the 4th player to go directly from #CFC to #AFC in the #BPL era – after William Gallas, Lassana Diarra and Yossi Benayoun.

Notable absentees from the list are Aaron Ramsey, Santi Cazorla, Laurent Koscielny, Lukas Podolski, Olivier Giroud, Mesut Ozil, Serge Gnabry and English quartet Carl Jenkinson, Kieran Gibbs, Jack Wilshere and Theo Walcott who will return late due to their involvement in last month’s international affairs.
Joel Campbell recently played in Costa Rica’s friendly against Mexico while David Ospina and Alexis Sanchez have been busy on Copa America duty.
Indeed, Sanchez is unlikely to participate in this year’s pre-season after helping Chile reach the tournament’s final. The massive clash with Argentina will take place on Saturday.

good team
hey is Sagna n Frimpong still in AFC that must be an old picture but I wished Flamini, Arteta n Debuchy are no more AFC players

How can anyone want to get rid of Debuchey? The guy barely played due to ankle(?) injury and then a dislocated shoulder. He IS good if he gets a run of games. More than good enough as Bellerin replacement. Will be good to have the competition for places. #coyg
We don’t want Sanongo back.
