The Gunners will be in pursuit of a rare win when they travel to Goodison Park in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon. 

Arsenal were sitting in third place in the Premier League table back in early October after a 1-0 win over Bournemouth but that now feels like a very long time ago, after a remarkable dip in form from the team over the last two months.

The club’s hierarchy has taken its time in finding a replacement for Unai Emery, whom they decided to sack last month, but an even bigger worry is how far the team seems to be from challenging for a place in the Premier League top four.

With Mikel Arteta set to step in after this weekend as the Gunners’ new boss, Freddie Ljungberg will probably have one last chance to pick a starting eleven in his brief career as the interim manager of Arsenal.
