Lucas Torreira posts a message after playing in Bournemouth game
Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira took to social media to send a message to the club’s supporters after featuring in the draw against AFC Bournemouth in the Premier League on Thursday.
The Gunners said goodbye to interim boss Freddie Ljungberg last weekend as he handed over the torch to Mikel Arteta, who had chosen to leave his role as assistant coach at Manchester City for the chance of a lifetime as Arsenal manager.
In his first game as the Gunners’ boss, Arteta kept much of the same players from last Saturday’s starting line-up as Lucas Torreira started at the heart of Arsenal’s midfield.
The Uruguay international is gradually regaining a regular spot in the first eleven after previously being benched very often for Matteo Guendouzi.
After helping the team secure a point despite trailing at halftime during Thursday’s game, Lucas Torreira took to social media to send out an encouraging message to the fans…
Buen trabajo de todo el equipo. A seguir trabajando y pensar en lo que viene.
.
Great work of the whole team , we have to keep working hard , onto the next one.
