Arsenal will be looking to secure a place in the fourth round of the FA Cup by seeing off Leeds United in Monday’s clash at the Emirates stadium.

The Gunners regained much-needed confidence earlier this week as they beat Manchester United 2-0 in a very entertaining affair at home.

Mikel Arteta appears to have added discipline and passion to what was a struggling side and they will hope to maintain that momentum on Monday.

The new Arsenal boss will have fond memories of this competition as he was afterall part of the squad which ended a long trophy drought by winning the FA Cup in 2014.

Arteta is expected to rotate his team for the clash with Leeds United and that could see Arsenal loan boy Dani Ceballos – who is at the club on a temporary spell from Real Madrid – finally make his return from injury.

At the back, the likes of Rob Holding and Mavropanos, who have rarely featured this season, could be handed a chance to challenge David Luiz and company for a place in the regular line-up.

Also, considering how unconvincing goalkeeper Emi Martinez has been when called upon this season, it is about time someone else – like the promising Matt Macey – got their opportunity to shine as well.

PREDICTED TEAM

Macey

Bellerin – Holding – Mavropanos – Saka

Xhaka – Guendouzi – Ceballos

Pepe – Lacazette – Martinelli
