The Gunners have welcomed back one of their key attackers ahead of the trip to Sheffield United in the Premier League on Monday evening.

Unai Emery witnessed his side climb up to third place in the table after a narrow win over Bournemouth at the Emirates stadium, right before the international break.

With a good portion of the squad now returning from long trips ahead of the match against Sheffield United, the Arsenal boss will be hoping there are no new injuries to worry about.

Indeed, Emery has been handed a major boost with the news that Alexandre Lacazette has finally been able to return to full training.

The Frenchman, who earns £140,000-a-week wages (via Mirror) – was able to take part in full training with the rest of the squad on Thursday, for the first time since he sustained an ankle injury last month.

Arsenal’s medical staff has issued a positive update on Lacazette, adding that he could be included in the squad for Monday’s trip.

“Left ankle. Alex is progressing well and is back in full training. Decision on his participation for Monday’s match at Sheffield United will be made in the forthcoming days.” the club’s offical website said
