The Gunners may have one or two injury worries from the international break but most of the players who were already injured prior to the two-week pause are on their way back.

Unai Emery will be wishing for better luck with injuries this season after being troubled by the absences of key players during his debut campaign at the Emirates stadium last year.

One of the players who succumbed to a serious injury blow last term was Hector Bellerin, as he was withdrawn from the match against Chelsea back in January, due to a severe knee ligament damage.

The Spaniard had to undergo surgery for the injury and after several months on the sidelines, Bellerin is now looking to make a comeback.

Ahead of the clash with Watford in the Premier League this weekend, the Gunners have revealed that the right-back is set to make a return to full training with the first team as early as this month.

“Left knee. Continuing with on-field rehabilitation. Progressing well and aiming to participate in full training in September.” An update from the club’s official website said.
