Arsenal’s majority shareholder Stan Kroenke has released a new statement regarding the potential sale of the club.

The Gunners’ owner has been ordered by most fans to relinquish his powerful role after the team’s disappointing results.

Following the news of Alisher Usmanov’s bid to takeover the club, there have been rumours suggesting that Arsenal could soon be under new ownership.

However, Kroenke has reiterated his desire to keep full control of the Gunners and not hand over his large stake in the club.

“KSE UK, Inc notes the recent media speculation concerning its shareholding in Arsenal Holdings PLC and confirms that its shares are not, and never have been, for sale.” a statement from Kroenke Sports & Entertainment (KSE) said

“KSE is a committed, long term investor in Arsenal and will remain so.”
