Former Manchester United skipper Roy Keane has added his own insults to the criticism many have leveled at Arsenal over the past couple of days.

The Gunners responded to the 4-0 humiliation at Liverpool with an encouraging unbeaten run in all competitions which even saw them earn a point at Stamford Bridge.

However, that run came to an end last Saturday as Watford staged a late comeback to beat them 2-1 in dramatic fashion.

And speaking on ITV’s Champions League highlights show alongside former Gunner Lee Dixon, Roy Keane bashed Wenger’s side.

“I think most teams in the Premier League are ahead of Arsenal,” he said

Keane’s remarks came after Dixon suggested that Arsenal’s north London rivals Tottenham have now surpassed them.

“Spurs now are rock solid, a really good team. They went to Real Madrid, they were very brave and showed a lot of courage.” Dixon said

“The manager and players deserve great credit because this is a top Tottenham team now.”
