Mari and Nketiah start, Ozil out: 4-3-3 Predicted team vs West Ham
The Gunners will be looking to continue their impressive recent run in the Premier League when they welcome West Ham to the Emirates stadium on Saturday afternoon.
In goal, Bernd Leno should start as usual while Hector Bellerin and Bukayo Saka keep their respective spots as full-backs.
At the heart of the defence, the same partnership from the Portsmouth game should be used with David Luiz and Pablo Mari getting another chance to flourish their chemistry.
In midfield, the trio should be Granit Xhaka, Dani Ceballos and Matteo Guendouzi. The absence of Lucas Torreira makes the selection of midfielders an easy one this time.
In the attack, the likes of Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang and Nicolas Pepe should return and take their places while Mesut Ozil and Alexandre Lacazette, who have often failed to be efficient attacking options, remain on the bench.
Mikel Arteta will have to name an attacking-minded team which will have a go at the Hammers’ defensive shape right from kick off.
PREDICTED TEAM
Leno
Bellerin – Luiz – Mari – Saka
Xhaka – Guendouzi – Ceballos
Pepe – Nketiah – Aubameyang
