Arsene Wenger has been boosted by the news that one of his key players has managed to return to action during the international break.
The Gunners have been struggling to maintain their faint title challenge ever since the 3-1 defeat to Watford in late January, losing four of their last five games in the Premier League.
And during that period, Mesut Ozil, who is yet to sign a new contract, has been in and out of the team with niggling injuries and illness.
The 28-year-old was left out of the Arsenal squad which traveled to West Brom last weekend and there were doubts about his involvement with Germany, especially after he was withdrawn from training this week due to a back problem.
However, Ozil returned to action with the national team squad on Saturday as they held their training session ahead of the World Cup qualifier against Azerbaijan.
