Arsenal are expected to confirm the arrival of a new addition within the next day or two according to a solid report.
The Gunners have been hit by injuries to key players yet again this season as they look to secure a major trophy after last season’s barren finish.
That sort of success can only be achieved with a deep squad and Arsene Wenger appears to be keen on addressing the need to have enough cover in certain positions.
According to Sky Sports, the Arsenal manager is set to recruit a new left-back in Hednesford prospect Cohen Bramall after a successful trial at the club.
The report claims that the 20-year-old has “passed a medical examination and will join on a two-and-a-half-year contract”.
Bramall, who is coming from the seventh-tier of English football, will join the club as an understudy to Nacho Monreal at left-back with the future of Kieran Gibbs currently uncertain.
The last young full-back to make such a meteoric rise in moving to Arsenal from a much lower division was Carl Jenkinson in the summer of 2011.
