‘Most mediocre buy by Arsene’ – Fans are bashing this Arsenal star despite win over West Ham

Several Arsenal fans have expressed their frustration about one player even though the Gunners managed to win on Tuesday night.

Arsene Wenger’s men went into the clash with West Ham after beating Newcastle 1-0 at home over the weekend.

And they followed up that result with another narrow win, defeating David Moyes’ side 1-0 to secure a place in the semi-finals of the League Cup courtesy of a goal from Danny Welbeck.

Despite the win, there were Gonners who were left frustrated by the performance of Mohamed Elneny against the Hammers.

The 25-year-old was back in the starting line-up for the Gunners on Tuesday but it appears as though his efforts were not enough to please most fans.

Elneny should never take our free kicks or corners. Whatever Wenger sees in training I will never know. Absolutely atrocious. #arsenal

No doubt we had to rely on a scrappy goal to win this match, there was no creativity in midfield. Elneny is the most mediocre buy by Arsene in his entire career, man's not fit for Arsenal.

Elneny plays the same way as our opponents. Does he even know what a forward pass is? West Ham were atrocious. They were just playing to make up numbers.
