Arsenal have lost one more important player to injury heading into another busy month of fixtures.
The Gunners have been troubled by injuries yet again this season as they continue to challenge for their first Premier League title since 2004.
And after losing Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to a hamstring problem in last week’s defeat at Manchester City, the club has confirmed that fellow winger Theo Walcott has also suffered an injury.
Walcott, who is the team’s second top scorer behind Alexis Sanchez so far this season, is now out with a calf problem he suffered in Arsenal’s last fixture.
The length of the 27-year-old’s spell on the sidelines is yet to be revealed but the club has deemed Walcott’s injury as a ‘slight’ one.
