‘Our best player, Great performance’: Some fans praise this Arsenal star after draw
Even though the Gunners were held to another draw on Saturday, some fans were delighted by the display of Mikel Arteta’s left-back on the day as the team drew 1-1 with Sheffield United.
Due to injuries to some key players in defence, Mikel Arteta has been forced into making a few changes which may have disrupted the chemistry of the team’s back four.
On Saturday afternoon, the Gunners boss had no choice but to start Bukayo Saka at left-back once again, with the likes of Kieran Tierney and Sead Kolasinac sidelined by injuries.
Even though Saka’s preferred role is definitely not to play as a full-back, the youngster has covered himself in glory playing in that makeshift role for Mikel Arteta’s side.
Arsenal did fail to keep hold of a one-goal lead yet again on Saturday as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Sheffield United, but the performance of the young left-back pleased many fans…
Saka was our best player. Great performance by him.

Just a thought: I know it’s not his natural position, but today’s showing demonstrated that Saka can do a very decent job at left-back, and that signing a very average one in Jan ahead of other positions makes little sense. Particularly if we’re to believe funds are so limited.

Saka is probably our best talent at the club right now. Can’t wait for him to play in his more favoured left winger position.

Bukayo Saka >>>>>> Layvin Kurzawa. Hope this helps.

Saka has 7 assists this season already. Superb numbers, what a gem.

Saka is going to be a beast. Kid is just 18 and is muscling out much older players. #afc
