Lucas Perez has tipped his much-coveted teammate Hector Bellerin to turn down a move to Barcelona and remain at Arsenal.
Bellerin has been linked with a return to his former club ever since he broke into the Arsenal first team two seasons ago.
And despite recently signing a new long-term contract, the 22-year-old is rumoured to be on the radar of Barcelona.
However, Perez insists Bellerin is unlikely to head back to Spain thi summer.
“I have not asked him that question because his new six-year deal clearly states what is his future.” the Spanish forward said
“In the world of football you never know what can happen, but he has just signed a new deal and I think he will continue in London because he is very happy here, he has been here many years, his family lives with him and he is happy at Arsenal.
“Furthermore, he is a player with a long future ahead at the club.
“I do not think that he is going to leave but it is clear that not every day Barcelona knocks on your door. It will be very difficult [for him to leave Arsenal].”
