Arsene Wenger appears to have escaped being hit by any injury blows so far in October’s international break.

With Danny Welbeck and Per Mertesacker sidelined by long-term injuries while Olivier Giroud and Aaron Ramsey remain out, the Arsenal manager will be keeping an eye on the fitness of his players who are representing their countries.

Earlier in the week, Hector Bellerin suffered an ankle injury in the Spanish U-21 team’s 3-0 victory over San Marino, prompting concerns over Arsenal’s first-choice right-back.

However, the 21-year-old has dismissed those fears by resuming training and taking to social media to confirm that he is ready to go again.
