Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin took to social media to express his delight after helping the team secure a vital victory in the Europa League on Thursday night.

Arsene Wenger’s men received all sorts of criticism over the weekend after losing 1-0 to fierce local rivals Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley stadium.

That result put Arsenal’s hopes of finishing in the top four of the Premier League this season in severe jeopardy as they remain sixth in the table.

Thus, winning the Europa League is now undoutedly the Gunners’ best chance of making it to the Champions League next season.

And on Thursday night, Hector Bellerin featured as Arsenal managed to secure a 3-0 win in the first leg of the round of 32 clash.

The right-back has been bashed by fans for much of this season due to his erratic displays but Bellerin was quick to show his appreciation to the Arsenal faithful after the final whistle.
