Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette has sent out a subtle update on his condition via social media as he spends time on the sidelines with an injury.
The 26-year-old completed a move to the Emirates stadium from Olympique Lyonnais last summer in a deal which made him the most expensive signing in Arsenal’s history at the time.
Lacazette made a relatively impressive start to life in north London, scoring most of his goals at home in the Premier League.
However, the arrival of Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang from Borussia Dortmund during last month’s transfer window has seen the Frenchman drop further down in the pecking order.
Lacazette was already struggling with his form a couple of weeks prior to Aubameyang’s move and a knee injury he suffered recently has certainly not helped his situation.
The former Ligue 1 star is expected to remain on the sidelines for several weeks and he took to Twitter earlier today to show the fans how he has been doing.
It appears Lacazette is now able to take on gym work-outs, signaling that his recovery process is going according to plan…
