The latest man to join the Gunners’ injury list has taken to social media to send out a message after the game against Manchester United on Wednesday.
On Wednesday evening, Unai Emery took his side to Old Trafford, hoping to maintain the push for a top four spot after a superb 4-2 win over Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.
Arsenal did well to take the lead twice against Jose Mourinho’s struggling side but on two occasions, defensive errors cost the Gunners who had to settle for a 2-2 draw as Spurs moved ahead of them.
During the class at Old Trafford, Arsenal were hit with injury blow and the most notable one saw Rob Holding leave the pitch with what appeared to be a serious problem.
Just want to say a big thank you to all the fans, players and staff members for the support during the past couple of days. Gutted to get injured during a strong period for the team! pic.twitter.com/EC466il7aG
