Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette took to social media to enjoy the win with the fans after a brilliant show from the Frenchman helped his side secure a 2-0 triumph over London rivals Chelsea in the Premier League on Saturday.

Unai Emery was very much aware that his side needed to show some character after a frustrating show at West Ham a week ago which saw them suffer a 1-0 defeat.

That loss was a huge setback for the Gunners, especially with Manchester United now back in the race for a top four finish after the departure of Jose Mourinho last month.

United’s win over Brighton earlier in the day demoted Arsenal to sixth place in the table but the Gunners responded to that in emphatic fashion.

A magnificent goal from Alexandre Lacazette in the opening minutes of the game saw Arsenal take a much-deserved lead before going on to secure a 2-0 win.
