Picture: What contract-rebel Aaron Ramsey posted after Watford game
Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey took to social media to react after playing in Saturday’s match which saw the Gunners beat Watford 2-0 at the Emirates stadium in the Premier League.
Arsenal were blamed earlier this year for overseeing the mess which resulted in Alexis Sanchez leaving the club to join rivals Manchester United after refusing to extend his contract in north London.
Less than a year after that, key midfielder Aaron Ramsey has landed himself in a similar situation with no signs of progress being made in his negotiations with the club.
Reports ahead of the weekend even suggested that the former Cardiff City player decided that he wants to leave the club following a breakdown in talks.
Nonetheless, Ramsey was handed a start on Saturday as the Gunners played Watford at home.
Unai Emery withdrew the midfielder from the game during the second half as Arsenal went on to beat the Hornets 2-0.
