Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil took to social media to share his thoughts after the team’s win over Rennes in the Europa League on Thursday evening. 

The Gunners were in action at the Emirates stadium on Thursday evening as they faced Rennes, a week after their embarrassing defeat away in France in the first leg of the tie.

After succumbing to a 3-1 loss against Rennes last Thursday, Arsenal knew they had to bounce back with an emphatic result at home to the side who are over 30 points behind leaders PSG in the French top flight.

Mesut Ozil was a player who featured in the first leg of the Europa League tie before being named in the starting eleven again on Sunday as the team defeated Manchester United in the Premier League.

The German midfielder was back in the team on Thursday and the Gunners found a way to secure a place in the next round of the competition  as they thrashed Rennes 3-0.
