Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil has been active on social media after the clash against Atletico Madrid in Singapore.
The Gunners are currently on tour in Asia as Unai Emery gets his squad ready for what will be his first campaign after replacing Arsene Wenger two months ago.
Arsenal faced Atletico Madrid on Thursday in a friendly in Singapore which saw the Gunners go on to lose in a penalty shootout.
Mesut Ozil has been back in the squad for the Singapore tour, after featuring for a disappointing Germany side who were surprisingly knocked of the World Cup in the group stage earlier this summer.
The 29-year-old, who is now pocketing £350,000-a-week wages at the club, did not feature in the Gunners’ clash with Diego Simeone’s side.
But after the game, Ozil took to social media nonetheless to send out a message to the caring fans who made it to the stadium to support the team…
