Pictures: 28-year-old shares his summer life after being told by Arsenal to leave
The Gunners have wasted no time in getting rid of certain players after the dreadful disappointment from last season which saw the club fail to qualify for the Champions League once again.
Unai Emery has not been blessed with a massive financial backing by the club’s owner Stan Kroenke, but the best he can do to improve the situation at the Emirates stadium is to clear out the so-called ‘deadwood’.
One of the players who have been told to leave Arsenal this summer, is Danny Welbeck, a striker who moved to the club from Manchester United five years ago.
The 28-year-old made a fine start to his career in Arsenal colors but a number of serious injuries he suffered later on, saw him spend more time on the sidelines.
After being denied the chance to renew his contract with the Gunners, Welbeck will now have to spend the next few months in search of a new club.
And here was the Englishman sharing his summer life so far on social media.
