Arsenal are preparing to kick-off the 2017/18 Premier League campaign with a winnable clash at home to Leicester City.
Arsene Wenger’s men are heading into the fixture on the back of a victory over Chelsea in the Community Shield which saw Sead Kolasinac score a vital late equalizer.
The Bosnia international had replaced Per Mertesacker who suffered a serious facial injury during the first half, but Wenger’s worries at centre-back have been reduced ahead of Friday night’s fixture.
Mertesacker is now back in training with the Arsenal squad and the 32-year-old could return to the starting line-up tomorrow.
