The Gunners were able to return to training at London Colney on Friday as the Premier League season nears what could be a much-anticipated resumption in June. 

For more than three months now, top-flight football has been paused in England due to the unexpected Coronavirus outbreak which has left much of the world living in fear.

Arsenal’s form prior to the suspension of the season in March was certainly encouraging, even though the club bowed out of the Europa League at the hands of Olympiacos in a dramatic tie.

With a glimmer of hope still left for Mikel Arteta in the race for a top four finish, the Arsenal boss will be looking forward to the expected resumption of the Premier League next month, according to chief executive Richard Masters.

On Friday, the Arsenal squad made its return to training at London Colney as clubs across Europe begin their rehearsals for competitive action after spending three months in quarantine.

Here were a few snapshots as several players showed their joy with the Gunners now training again.
