Arsene Wenger’s men are now wrapping up their preparations for Friday’s big Premier League clash with Liverpool at the Emirates stadium.

The Gunners have managed to win their last two games by the scoreline of 1-0, against Newcastle and West Ham respectively.

And next on the busy schedule is a meeting with Liverpool, a major rival for a top four spot, whom they lost 4-0 to back at the end of August.

One star who might be looking to make a start on Friday is Per Mertesacker, a player whom Wenger has rarely given playing time in the Premier League this season.
