Arsene Wenger’s men are now gearing up for another important clash with a member of the Premier League’s so-called ‘big six’ this weekend.

The Gunners suffered a defeat on the road in their last outing as Manchester City won 3-1 at the Etihad stadium.

With Olivier Giroud succumbing to a thigh problem over the international break, Wenger will have fewer options on the bench for Saturday’s match.

As a result, young hotshot Eddie Nketiah was called upon to join the first team in training on Friday morning.

The highly-rated striker followed up his exploits for Arsenal in the League Cup with five goals for the England U-19 side over the international break.
