Pictures: New signing looking happy as Arsenal squad focuses during Monday’s training
The Arsenal squad is looking ready for Tuesday’s tricky trip to Switzerland as this season’s Champions League group stage campaign is brought to an end.
Arsene Wenger’s men look unlikely to top their group after the 2-2 draw with Paris Saint-Germain at the Emirates stadium two weeks ago.
The French champions would have to drop points at home to Bulgarian minnows Ludogorets while the Gunners win against Basel for the standings to change dramatically.
Nonetheless, Arsenal have maintained their impressive record of consistently making it into the knock-out stages of Europe’s elite club competition under the reign of Arsene Wenger.
Monday saw the north London side hold their final training session before flying out to Switzerland and as usual, new Gunner Shkodran Mustafi did not find any reason to frown.
