Piers Morgan calls for major Arsenal decision after Chelsea game
Piers Morgan has called for the Arsenal hierarchy to make an immediate managerial decision following the defeat at home to Chelsea in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
After losing to newly-promoted side Brentford in the opening game of the campaign last weekened, much of the Emirates stadium crowd were hoping for an emphatic response as local rivals Chelsea made a trip to north London on Sunday.
However, another lackluster display, combined with a shambolic defensive show saw the away side score twice in the first half with both goals being created from Arsenal’s left flank.
It was a defeat which saw the Gunners slip further down in the Premier League table so early into the new season and that has sparked strong reactions from some fans.
For well-known gooner, Piers Morgan, Arsenal will have to act immediately to end “this monotonous misery” by getting rid of current boss Mikel Arteta.
And the replacement he recommends?….former Chelsea manager Antonio Conte!
