An angry Piers Morgan took to social media to share his reaction to Wednesday’s result in the League Cup as Arsenal surrendered the lead on several occasions to end up losing on penalties.

The Gunners have been in terrible form ever since the last international break ended and they were hoping to improve that on Wednesday night as they made a trip to Liverpool in the Carabao Cup.

Even though Arsenal went behind early in the game at Anfield, they did manage to recover and take the lead on more than one occasion.

However, Unai Emery’s side’s poor habit of giving away their lead continued as the home side found a way to end the match on level terms.

Heading into the penalty shoot out, the Gunners were the team without momentum and thus, they ended up losing a match they should have seen out and won.
