The Gunners made sure they remained nine points behind league leaders Chelsea by beating Tony Pulis side who had ten men behind the ball for a majority of the affair at the Emirates stadium.
Olivier Giroud’s late goal spared the blushes of an Arsenal team short of confidence following consecutive defeats to Everton and Manchester City which have severely damaged their title hopes.
Piers Morgan, who is known for not being afraid to express his views on the Gunners and Arsene Wenger, was very pessimistic about Arsenal’s season after watching Monday’s performance.
