Piers Morgan reacts to Wolves draw through a tweet that most fans now agree with
Following the Gunners’ poor form in recent weeks, Piers Morgan’s views, which previously seemed to be often controversial, are no longer sounding like something to debate about.
Arsenal have been winless in the Premier League ever since the last international break ended and ahead of Saturday’s clash with Wolves at the Emirates Stadium, there was a clear feeling of doom and gloom amongst the fans.
Even though star striker Aubemeyang managed to score the 50th goal of his career in north London during the first half, as the home side went 1-0 up, there were no signs of the Gunners’ fortunes being likely to change.
And as soon as Wolves scored an equalizer in the second half of the game, Arsenal could only settle for a draw on another day they were supposed to win at all cost.
After the final whistle, Piers Morgan reacted to the result by questioning the future of Unai Emery, something a majority of frustrated fans can hardly argue about now.
FT: 1-1. Another poor result for Arsenal. Beginning to feel distinctly less hopeful about the Emery era. #afc
