Piers Morgan took to social media to praise one of the Arsenal players who featured in midfield against Manchester United in the Premier League on Sunday evening.

The Gunners came up against Manchester United on Sunday, the side who were full of confidence after somehow beating Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League on Wednesday to qualify for the next stage of the competition against the odds.

Arsenal were deemed as unlikely to get a result against the Red Devils, who had star midfielder Paul Pogba back in their team to pose a real threat at the Emirates stadium.

Despite all of the media hype for Manchester United, it was Arsenal who grabbed all of the three points as Granit Xhaka grabbed the important opening goal of the game very early in the first half.

The Switzerland international found the net with a brilliantly struck effort which swerved last David de Gea with ease and Piers Morgan had nothing but praise for Xhaka after his display.
