Piers Morgan highlighted a growing concern about Arsenal and Tottenham’s rivalry following this week’s round of fixtures in the Premier League.

Arsene Wenger’s men headed into the clash with West Ham on the back of four defeats in their last six games in the league.

But second-half goals from Mesut Ozil, Theo Walcott and Olivier Giroud ensured Arsenal moved ahead of Manchester United into fifth place.

Even so, the Gunners are still four points behind fourth spot with a game in hand which happens to be a tricky trip to Southampton.

While Arsenal were thrashing West Ham, fierce rivals Tottenham staged a late comeback at Swansea City to register their fifth victory in a row and stay well ahead in the north London race.

With Mauricio Pochettino’s side now 11 points clear, there is a worrying feeling amongst Gooners that this could be the season where Spurs finally manage to finish above Arsenal during Wenger’s reign.

And Piers Morgan made that concern clear in his post-match reaction on Twitter…

And he is not the only one feeling the impending doom from Tottenham…
