Hector Bellerin recently signed a new contract at Arsenal but he could be set for a departure according to a Spanish journalist.

The 22-year-old broke into the Gunners first team during the second half of the 2014/15 season, replacing Mathieu Debuchy in the starting eleven.

There have been rumours suggesting that Barcelona have expressed their interest in signing the right-back ever since he became a regular.

And even though Bellerin recently declined claims that he is seeking a move back to Spain, a journalist named Gerard Romero is suggesting otherwise.

According to his report, the Arsenal full-back and his agent Robert Fernández have met with Barcelona’s sporting director in London to discuss a move to the Camp Nou for the player this summer.

“Robert Fernández and Bellerin were in London before the halt of selections to probe his possible arrival at Barca reported in La Graderia,” Romero wrote on Twitter

“Barça knows that Bellerin is willing to come. Wenger continuity is key, the footballer needs change of scenery #mercato”
