Several Arsenal fans have expressed their frustration on social media about one of the players who featured in the 1-1 draw away to Southampton on Sunday.

The Gunners succumbed to their fifth league defeat of the season last weekend as Manchester United left the Emirates stadium with all of the three points despite being dominated for much of the game.

As a result, Arsene Wenger was very much aware ahead of the trip to St. Mary’s that his side could not afford to drop any more points in the race for a top four spot.

However, yet another horrible start from Arsenal saw them settle for a 1-1 draw against Southampton.

And featuring against the Saints was Granit Xhaka who was once again assigned the task of protecting the Arsenal back-line in the holding midfield role.

However, it appears that the 25-year-old’s performance was not enough to impress fans who now want to see the back of him.
