Lukas Podolski came off the bench to score a sensational winner for Arsenal as Anderlecht were dramatically beaten 2-1 on Wednesday night.

It was no simple 2-1 win. After 89 minutes had been played, Wenger’s men were 1-0 down, starring at a damaging result in Belgium.

Then came a moment of inspiration from Kierran Gibbs of all people who fired home the equalizer before substitute Lukas Podolski punished the hosts’ error with Arsenal’s winning goal a minute later.
