‘Should’ve sold him last summer’ – Gooners attack Arsenal star on Twitter after United game

Much of the Arsenal faithful expressed their frustration on social media following the remarkably undeserved 3-1 defeat against Manchester United on Saturday.

The Gunners suffered their first loss at the Emirates stadium in the Premier League this season after a 12-game winning streak at their home ground.

Despite a spirited display in attack which saw them pepper the United goal with a whopping 33 shots, Arsene Wenger’s men still ended up on the losing side.

It was definitely a night to forget for Shkodran Mustafi who only featured for 12 minutes, having conceded two early goals from Jose Mourinho’s side.

Thus, the Germany international, who nearly left Arsenal for Inter Milan during the summer, received some criticism from the fans on social media…

Mustafi really does have similarities with Gabriel. Every time you think he's turned a corner he reminds you why you viewed him as a bit of a meme before that. Has a better chance of making it here due to his leadership and superior ability on the ball though.
