Sky Sports: Arsenal are now in talks over deal to sell 27-year-old
Sky Sports are claiming that the Gunners are in talks over the sale of one of the fringe players in Unai Emery’s squad with not too long left before the transfer window closes.
Following a frustrating season which saw them fail to finish in the top four of the Premier League, Arsenal have attempted to rectify matters this summer to possibly secure a return to the Champions League next term.
And according to Sky Sports, the Gunners’ next move in transfer window could be to sell Carl Jenkinson after eight years at the club for the 27-year-old.
The British network is claiming that Arsenal are now in talks with Nottingham Forest over a transfer deal which would see the defender finally leave the Emirates stadium.
Most fans will be hoping the potential exit of Jenkinson is the start of a clear-out of players who are no longer useful to the team.
