Sky Sports confirm star forward is returning to Arsenal
Arsene Wenger is set to welcome back one of his key stars from the international break much earlier than expected.
Following the 3-1 defeat against Manchester City last Sunday, several members of the Arsenal first team headed to represent their country on international duty.
And the first man to pick an injury problem is Olivier Giroud who had to be withdrawn moments after scoring for France on Friday.
The 31-year-old was seen with an ice bag wrapped around his thigh as he sat on the bench for the rest of the game.
And according to Sky Sports, Giroud is now returning to Arsenal for further treatment ahead of next weekend’s north London derby.
