Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth is claiming that the Gunners are holding talks over a deal which will see one of the club’s most important stars extend his contract.
Unai Emery has so far rewarded the likes of Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Granit Xhaka with contract extensions this summer.
The new Arsenal boss, who replaced Arsene Wenger back in May, has laid out his plans for the upcoming season which includes the offloading of certain players who are deemed to be surplus to requirements.
Aaron Ramsey is definitely one of the players whom Emery will be keen on keeping at the club this summer.
And according to Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth, the Gunners are in talks with Ramsey over a new deal for the Welshman.
“Unai Emery says his business could be done,” Sheth said.
“This could be their best bit of business if they can get Ramsey to sign a new deal. We understand there is talks underway.
“It would be a great move for Arsenal.”
