Arsenal will be aiming to end their winless run in the Premier League when they make the tough trip to Everton on Saturday after a woeful streak of results since early November.

Between the sticks, Bernd Leno will be assured another start and infront of the German shot-stopper should be Rob Holding, David Luiz and Shkodran Mustafi – filling in for Gabriel – in a back three.

Honestly, the poor run of results in the league, which are often sandwiched by solid displays in the Europa League, means some fringe players who have being featuring in the cup competition must be given a chance.

Thus, Cedric Soares should be handed a start at right-wing-back with Kieran Tierney keeping his place on the opposite flank.

In midfield, Mohamed Elneny and Dani Ceballos should be the pairing, and considering the lack of creativity in that area of the squad, this is possibly the least defensive-minded midfield partnership available.

In attack, Willian’s consistently below-par shows cannot be rewarded with yet another start. The Brazilian should be dropped for Reiss Nelson, with Nicolas Pepe and Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang completing the front-line.

PREDICTED TEAM

Leno

Luiz – Holding – Mustafi

Soares – Elneny – Ceballos – Tierney

Pepe – Aubameyang – Nelson
