Wenger admits new signings will be pursued
Arsene Wenger has admitted he is not done with transfer business this summer amid reports of a possible third signing being targeted.
The Arsenal manager has so far managed to bring in Sead Kolasinac and of course Alexandre Lacazette who became the most expensive player in the club’s history two weeks ago.
Various reports have linked Wenger with a move for another new signing as AS Monaco’s Thomas Lemar continues to dominate the headlines.
And speaking on Tuesday, the Gunners boss admitted he is still in the market for players who can improve his squad.
“There are two ways to strengthen the squad,” Wenger said
“The first is to analyse where we have not done so well and where we can improve together, and the other way is to bring in players from outside.
“We are still open to strengthening our team with players coming from outside.
“We are very active on the transfer market and have already realised two incomings. We have to keep a balance as well, that you don’t destabilise the team too much by bringing in too many players.
“But we are still active on the transfer market so let’s see what kind of opportunities we can find.”
