Sergio Diaz starred at this summer's Toulon Tournament for his native Paraguay

A bright South American forward has admitted to the media that playing for Arsenal is certainly his dream. 

Despite the Gunners’ lack of major success over the past decade, they still remain a fanciable target for several promising players around the world.

Newcastle star Moussa Sissoko recently admitted that playing in Arsenal’s colours is one of his biggest wishes as a footballer.

And despite signing for Real Madrid only days ago, Paraguay starlet Sergio Diaz has revealed that representing Arsene Wenger’s side is still what he wants.

“My dream is to play for Arsenal, which I have had since I was a child.” Diaz said.

The highly-rated youngster, who has been compared to Sergio Aguero, has refused to rule out a move to north London after acknowledging that he is not completely settled in Spain.

“I still do not know who I will be doing the pre-season with, I guess I will be told in the next few days.” the 18-year-old added
