Arsenal are reportedly closing on the sale of another member of the first team according to emerging reports on Thursday.

Arsene Wenger is expected to oversee a clear-out of fringe players ahead of a season which will witness his side compete in the Europa League.

Lucas Perez has been one of the players frequently linked with a move away from the club and his departure is becoming more likely.

According to Turkish source Sabah, Fenerbache have agreed terms with Arsenal and the Spaniard over an imminent transfer deal.

Perez agreed to join the Gunners last summer in a £17.1 million move from Deportivo La Coruna but his debut season at the club saw him feature very rarely under Wenger.

The report is indicating that Fenerbahce have held positive talks with Arsenal over a deal which would see the Spaniard move to Turkey ahead of the new campaign.

Wenger confirmed this week that the 28-year-old would be allowed to leave the Emirates stadium due to too much competition amongst forwards for a starting spot.
