Several Arsenal fans have expressed their delight over the performance of one of the centre-backs who featured against Southampton.
Arsene Wenger chose to name almost exactly the same starting eleven from Sunday’s clash with Manchester United for the trip to the St. Mary’s.
Wednesday night’s affair saw Rob Holding keep his place in the line-up as Shkodran Mustafi came in for the injured Laurent Koscielny.
And Holding’s display at the back helped Arsenal keep a second straight clean sheet in the Premier League as they secured all the three points to move up to fifth place.
