‘This is pretty bad news’ – Fans react to Wenger’s concerning injury update on Arsenal player
Arsenal fans on social media have expressed their concern following Arsene Wenger’s injury update on one of his key players ahead of the Southampton game.
The Arsenal manager is likely to have been left delighted by the way his side has improved in recent weeks after their terrible run during February.
However, what has remained a problem for Wenger is the fitness of his key players heading into a very decisive period in the 2017/18 campaign.
During the 4-1 victory over CSKA Moscow in the Europa League on Thursday night, new signing Henrikh Mkhitaryan had to be withdrawn from the game in the second half after picking up an injury problem.
Wenger has admitted that he fears the 29-year-old may have suffered some sort of ligament damage which could bring an end to his season much earlier than expected.
And after hearing of the news, several Arsenal fans on social media have expressed their concerns over the potential absence of the former Manchester United star…
This is pretty bad news – hes turning into a pretty indispensible player for us, offering goals assists and general all round play

Shame we won't see him play on Sunday. Hopefully the injury isn't too serious.

Hoping he isn't out for too long. But at the same time, it looks like he won't be starting a game for the rest of the season

Thats not a problem,he can always go to the specialist to whom Kane went and come back next week.
