Arsene Wenger is now targeting the addition of another attacking option according to emerging reports.
The Arsenal manager is preparing for a campaign which will see his side feature in the Europa League after their fifth place finish last season.
Wenger has already brought in the likes of Sead Kolasinac and most recently Alexandre Lacazette to bolster his squad.
And according to L’Equipe, the Gunners have now resumed their pursuit of AS Monaco midfielder Thomas Lemar.
The report is indicating that Arsenal have submitted an offer of $51.3 million (€45 million) for the highly-rated 21-year-old.
Lemar has attracted the interest of several clubs this summer after a breakthrough 2016/17 season which saw him help Monaco clinch the Ligue 1 title.
The French champions are yet to respond to Arsenal’s new offer after rejecting their $40 million bid last summer.
