What Gooners are saying about Gabriel’s display on Saturday
Another Arsenal player has received rave reviews for his display in this weekend’s Premier League fixture.
Arsene Wenger’s men maintained their push for the title with a 3-1 victory over Stoke City which has now put them on a three-game winning streak in the league.
One of the fringe players who was called upon to help Arsenal see out Saturday’s triumph was Gabriel, a man still mentally recovering from the disappointment of what happened to Brazilian club Chapecoense recently.
The former Villareal man started the game at right-back before being moved alongside Laurent Koscielny at the heart of Arsenal’s defence as Shkodran Mustafi limped off with an injury.
And here were the thoughts of some fans on his performance…
I know he didn't have to do much but Gabriel played well at CB showed some discipline

Gabriel has put Crouch off a couple times. Much more mature, it seems. Not done at Arsenal by a long ways. #AFCvSCFC

Think Gabriel's stint as RB has done good to him. Looks more confident n comfortable to create something himself.

Gabriel is really impressive and he gives Arsenal lots of options in that defense
